99 Cobra Exhaust Question

I recently bought a 99 Cobra and the first thing I want to do is put an exhaust on it. What are your opinions on a nice, LOUD exhaust. I was told Flowmaster American Thunder had a really good sound. I just don't want to be disappointed.
