curious
I just picked up a 07 gt 5 speed, stock and a friend of mine has a honda s2000, not sure what year it is cause i dont keep up with the import s$%^t, anyway he says his little car will hand me my ***, and im not sure if it will or not. He claims to have 245 hp at the wheels which makes me wonder.Thats a damn little car to have that much power, what do you guys think?
The S2000 stock in 2000 had 240 hp at the crank. Not bad for a 2.0 not sure what they are pushing now. They are lighter then the s197 and have a 9000 rpm rev limit.
Still think you could take him if all he has is CAI and exhaust

Exhaust on those cars only cause it to lose torque, which they don't have much of anyway. You will spank that car if its a 2004 or newer S2000. A 2003 or older S2000 will put up a better fight, but will still lose to an S197.
i completely agree. do cai's really do anything for the s2000? or is it just as good as a cai on a 350z, pretty much there just to say you have one, and barely improve power
Well i found out its a 04 model, a nice looking car i guess, for a import, not really my thing but not riced out at all except for the mufflers. We were leaving work today and i was in front of him and took off and he couldnt keep pass or even keep up with me that good so now i see that he isnt really that much of a threat, just talking out of his *** as usual. Thanks for the info guys.
