damn that blows. i should of known tho my one buddy i mentioned with the full bolt ons had to get his rebuilt after he put his stall in. and my other friend with a bolt on t/a blew his up after he added a tune.

Yea the old 4L60 kinda sucks, crap ton of them around here start going out on the 2-3 shift starts slipping and hitting the rev limiter have to let out and let the thing shift then you can go lol.

+1.. when my first one let go I have a 2300 rebuild with everything beefed. Stall was another 600 I believe since I went cheap on it.

I don't miss the 4L60E much to be honest....

Thats exactly what mine did. Had to let off and hope it would shift. Eventually, it just went out and had to be put on a rollback, several times.

What RPM are you sitting on at 70 mph? I have 3.23s and turn 2100 RPM at 70 mph.

I think it's around 2500 or so. Most of the time I drive about 80 and I'm sitting at close to 3k. The 94 Z28 is still at only 2k at 80 with the 3.90's. I miss having a 6speed already. lol

Yea, that 6th gear is pretty tall. Does the A4 feel much slower than the M6 to you?
