In a 1/4 mile drag race it would have been interesting.......Between those two guys.. On a side note. Have you used the launch control on your GT500 yet 72Mach? Would there be any advantage using it vs. just good driving? Every GT500 I've seen at Atco has had real impressive traps with less than stellar E/Ts. There always exciting to watch run but usally not for the right reasons.
It sounds like the clutch protection is just as detrimental as a lack of traction as well. A member on another site turned his off through one of his tunes, made a new PB on the next pass, but didn't run again because of the smell of his clutch.
Personally, I have had better luck with LC on and TC in Sport Mode than I have with it off. Of course that is just me comparing my 0-60 times to each other using the track aps in the car itself.
I'll admit the car is harder to launch than I anticipated.
