im getting gears soon and i was wondering if i had to buy a custom tune for my 4.10s or if theres an option for it (its currently broken and im getting it fixed so i cant look)

 

No if & or buts about it man... your going to need to retune after installing gears, otherwise your speed OD is going to be off. You don't want this too happen. Wait to add gears once your tuner is fixed. Good luck & nice add w/ gears

 

Depends on the tune. Some tuners will leave it as an option, but I've seen some that lock the option this making it unavailable.

If you have a canned tune, you should be able to change it via the options.

 

I believe that's a change that you can program yourself using the SCT tuner you already have. Try plugging it in and select the appropriate menu for choice of gearing... it's a long time ago, but I recall doing that on mine & it was dead easy.
