When you say failure, do you mean catastrophic failure? Or a software failure that a simple reflashing can remedy?

Of course, I am really meticulous about following the procedures by the numbers and to the "T" because I am deathly afraid of causing a catastrophic failure of hardware (i.e. the ECU itself, etc.).

Will there be an Android app for this as well? The ipad app looks cool. If you were trying to use it as a gauge while you were driving the ipad would be hard to mount some where.

Ehhh, sometimes it can be recovered sometimes it can't. SCT might be able to better articulate why it kills it sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I've had very few actually become paper weights, but the times that it did were due to someone unplugging the programmer in the middle of the car flashing.

With that being said, I've probably flashed vehicles 10,000 times and only had it happen once to me. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

This seems to be really popular with the 2011 model owners...
