Wheel hubs?
My name is Ken and im new, I need some info and mabye you can help.
I want to replace the hubs on my 2000 mustang V6, I've removed the wheel and tire and the dust cap over the spindal, here the is a 1-1/4 inch castle nut or is this a press on seal? I need to remove this is this done with a puller or is it a bolt that unscrews to get to the hub?
need a site i can go to, or maybe explain how. Thanks for your help.

Hello All:
This is what I found out. It takes a 36mm socket and the nut is a one shot *****. New nuts will have to be purchased with the new hubs. The nut should be torqued from 221 to 295 ft pounds. In other words when your 1/2 drive ratched starts to bend you might have enough. I did my new wheel bearings last week and had the front end alighned and now I run staight and true down the high way.
Good luck.
