Ok since some ppl here think it's a prob with the MAF, here's a simple way to test it. I learned it from a dealership..and ended up costing me over $350.00...
With the engine running, simply tap on the sensor where the wires hook to it with the handle end of a large screw driver. If the engine dies, you have a bad sensor. If not, take it to a shop to find out what's really wrong.
