I have a 91 with the 2.3, i searched the forum but no hits, can i switch my speedo and gauges tothe 5.0 type ones that are up to 140mph? I know this won't go that fast but its getting a twin turbo 351w shortly, so i'm doing all the little mods i can while still keeping it on the road.

i have questioned that also and they do sell kits to do that and not all 5.0 have the 140 i know some 5.0's that have the 85 speedo also

 

thats because the 85 was used on all 5.0's, the 5.0's you see with 140's were converted. the only ones i know of that came stock with the 140 gauge are the 93 cobras.

 

so where do i get a kit to convert? I thought that most 5.0 mustangs had the 140mph speedo, at least all the ones i've seen have them
