motormounts?
ok ive started to do some mods to my car...such as intake, exhaust, bla bla bla...and i JUST got my water pump replaced...and as soon as i got it replaced, when i started it up, i would hear this clicking noise on the drivers side of the engine...so i thought it might be the pump so i took the belt off, and started it up, i did this several times, and i heard the clicking noise every time, when im on reverse and put it in drive, it does it as well...but these are the only times it does it, does any one have any idea if this could be the motormounts? or if it could be any thing else...i own a 95 v-6 auto mustang...
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!
Is it making a clicking noise only when the car is running, Is it like when the engine is running even when rev the engine its still clicking? It could be youre rocker arms my need adjustment, Maybe you got a few loose, If you drive youre car hard they will become loose, I have a 3.8L v6 mine click all the time. If youre motor mounts are shot the whole car would shake like metal to metal sound,
it only clicks when i start it up...and when i switch from reverse to drive...and when i turn it off...the only reason im so concerned is b/c ive kept my engine running good ever since ive owned it...and i want to keep it that way...heh...but if you know what it is...id like to know...thanks!!!!
