Our heads are strong, but they are choked down by Ford. If you go to a big valves and cam, you can get the same HP increase as adding a blower. You can buy a stage 3 from SSm ready to install kit for around 1500 bux. It's the same set up they run in their 10 second V6. I personally like the SSM stuff.

In my opinion, and I'm sure every V6 owners opinion, the SSM stage 3 package is the way Ford should have done it from the start. Because of the fact that the stage 3 is giving a 99-04 V6 around 280hp N/A, your not stressing your engine the way you would with forced air on a stock V6 top end. BUT, if you do a stage 3 and forced later, you have a V6 monster.

The heads and cam should be more than enough for you, I don't think you'll need any juice, just make sure you remember to get new fuel injectors and to make sure you have a shop reset your air to fuel mixture, you ecu shoud do it automattically, but just make sure everything is fine.
