also you better think twice about running 10.0:1 with a TMA turbo kit as you list in your future mods sig. 9.0:1 would be max unless you want tuning problems at 7psi boost

so i've heard. but it is easily done, as some cars actually come stock with that comp ratio with the same boost. i have tuned and helped build a car for a freind that ran 10.5:1 with 14 PSI from a blower. it ran fine

don't try it with a 3.8. you will be running the ragged edge for tuning.
9.0:1 you can get away with almost 20psi with a good tune but 10.0:1 you won't be able to approach 10psi without retarding the timing alot which will defeat the purpose of the higher compression.
why not run 8.5:1 and 25psi???
buick guy's run 7.8:1 and 25-30psi max and generally about 20psi at that ratio. the ford 3.8 was based off of the buick and will tolerate about the same boost levels but generally make more power because of the ford being a better design than the stage 1 buick

name 2 cars with that kind of boost factory and compression ratio?
