Default Overheating problem?

ok I have a 95 v6 with about 166,xxx miles. I noticed driving around the temperature level goes right above the "L" where it says "NORMAL" and it does back and forth between the "M" all the time. I replace the radiator two months ago and the head gaskets last year. What could be the problem?
