ok so how much do you guys think a factory gt rear would be? would it be easy to install myself? if i got a gt rear really cheap then i could just get the gears right?

technically yea. i mean you would already have a 8.8 tlok in there which is stronger than the 7.5 tlok.

an 8.8 with track-lok is weaker than a 7.5 with detroit by a wide margin. the 8.8 T-loks are not real strong either. i have busted a few of them with less than 300rwhp on V8's
