lol I found it by accident like 3 months after I bought the car. My girlfriend at the time was checking out my car while we were driving and like a typical girl, hit the button while we were drivng as she says "what's this do?"
lol I heard a loud POP and I was like Oh ShiZ! What'd you do!!?!?! then we happened to go over a bump and the trunk slammed shut. I didn't know what it was until I pulled over and checked it out for myself and made the connection.

Ya another thing is the factory radio and the trunk pop in the glove box have been in the same place for years. I had a 92 cougar with the same stock radio and trunk pop. Thats 8 years with no change in a completely different car! I think its the same with the Taurus, sable, etc... First things first that went when i got the stang was the dam POS head unit.
