Nope stock 4.3 hp is 175.. I don't see how you had an S10 with all that done to it and still have no clue what your stock hp was. Unless you just bought it like that. Heres my old S dime.

the 4x4's were rated 190/250. the 2wd had the exact same engine. the ratings were lower 2wd's to satisfy insurance companies.

I drove an S10 for four years. 99-04 S10's come with either a 125hp 2.2L 4 cyl, a 175hp 4.3L 6 cyl or a 190hp 4.3 6 cyl in the 4x4's. Xtremes come with the same engines as any other S10. The Xtreme option adds a body kit, 2 in suspension drop, 16 in wheels, smaller steering ratio and LSD. The 6 cyl runs about a 17.5 1/4 mile stock. The 4.3 is a really strong engine and can be built to be really fast but even most heavily modded 4.3's (S/C or T/C) only run in the mid 15's. Unless he's dumped alot of money into the engine he's probably at best only going to be able to hang with your 3.8 in a race. Don't get me wrong though there are alot of guys out there that have their S10s running fast as hell and a sixer stang should beware but If he's just a ******** that thinks his truck is the **** b/c it's an Xtreme and really has nothing done to it then you will teach him a good lesson.

he also ran low 13's with it. i know of another with a vortech running 254rwhp and he is in the high 13's. the only thing besides a blower is he put a 2.2L 4.10 rear in it
a set of brodix heads 1.65 rockers with a nice comp cams roller with about .520 lift and you have a beast
