I dont need to take a sugar pill to know that my car drives alot better...its like a taste test, theres coke and theres pepsi, most would say theyre the same, but then there are the ones who know the difference....and in this case i know the difference between the two tunes.

Hmm that shouldn't cause pinging, but if it is, you may have to retard your spark advance a little.

spark....someone said i may need a tune up, new plugs and wires....could that be the noise when i run it with a performance tune the plugs and wires dont hold up and with the reg tune they work fine.....but like you said, ill try to reset it and see if there is any more noise

Well, that could be your problem, although that would techinically retard the spark advance, but pfft, who knows, anyways, it's never a good thing to go a long time without a tune up.
