I'm still getting a squeaking/metal on metal sound out of my car. Some said its the brakes and some said its the tie rods. I've replaced both and I'm still getting the noise. It only happens when the car is in motion and I dont have to be turning to hear the noise. Any ideas?

 

is it coming from the engine bay?

 

My car has an intermittent squeak but it only does it above 30 MPH. I thought it was coming from the dash but it's the plastic wiper cowl. I can even hear it over the stereo sometimes. I found out by going through the car wash. As soon as the fans hit the cowl it started squeaking loud.
