After my second cowl panel cracked, I just made one out of carbon fiber. Now I dont have to worry about plus it looks bad@ss. Only problem is I havent figured out how to attach the rubber piece that goes around the hood hinges.

 

I am looking in to Making this part .

I put my want on long line auto yards all over USA Payed for it and still NO ( 98 back yes )

To Attach the rubber for the hing opening . Go to the auto glass shop and get a tube of urethaine windshield sealer take the panel off and turn up side down and put a little on the rubber tabs let it set over night. good to go next day

 

After 4 years is this still something that U R looking for ? Has anyone found for cheep anywhere ? I AM thinking of making them what do you think ?
