Jmod is just modifying the separator plates with more/larger holes. The shift kit touches some of those along with larger solinoids and springs, etc.

What shift kit did you get installed (transgo makes a few different ones).

so which one would be better to get the jmod or shift kit?

IDK, a combination of both i guess. The replacement springs and stuff from the shift kit and the seperator places from the Jmod.

Jovez, when i bought that shift kit i was told that you can adjust the shifting very easy

Did you have to get a new shifter (1-2-3-d-n-r-p)? or did you use your regular one (1-2-d-n-r-p)?

Yea, i plan on calling TransGo now to see what can be done. The guy said that if you can adjust it he would be willing to do it right away. So ill check into it a lil more.
