So i have a 2000 V6 coupe. A few months ago i installed a set of fog lights on it and they worked perfect for the first couple of months. a couple days ago they just stopped working all together. when they first stopped working the green indicator light which has the fog light emblem on it also went out, but the orange on off bulb still came on. after jiggling around the wires in the harness and the remote switch wire connecting to the switch, the on/off indicator light also went out. hopefully one of you knows something about this aftermarket fog light system and can help me out with trouble shooting tips. thanks in advance. here is a link to the fog light set i bought, hopefully that will help http://www.blueovalindustries.com/pr...p?pid=99011428.

#1 get clear ones
#2 check the ground wires

 

both of the ground wires are still connected well. i got the on/off indicator light to start coming on again, but the fog light icon still wont glow. and the fog lights wont go on. im guessing the problem is in the remote box but im not sure. any way... i though about getting clear ones but i wanted more of a factory look then aftermarket.

 

actualy i think its called the relay box or something, im not sure though

 

how do you install gt fog lights on a 2000 model? do you cut out the slots or how do you go about doing that?

 

The gt front bumper and the v6 are the same, just cut the grills out, the mounts are already there.
