Default Pypes Street Pros? w/ x-pipe

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what pypes cattedx-pipe and street pro mufflers would sound like on a '02 V6 mustang. I'm trying to avoid the ricey, raspy sound that just sounds terrible. Any input on this setup?

Default RE: Pypes Street Pros? w/ x-pipe

I have an 00 with the pypes catted X and the basic violator muffler package. Low end sounds like a 350Z, 2200-2750 RPM it has a nice muscular drone...WOT or High RPM (close to redline)it sounds raspy though... Part of it is the mufflers. Also, the pypes will require some 'triming' If you have the install instructions (you can get them off their website) you will see what they call 'flow-tubes' that connect the inlet of the mufflers to the X-pipe. These will probably be to long and require cutting to get the lenght and fit correct. Just a heads up from my own install experience with my car.
