Haha sorry I'm not trying to be mean but that racing carbon fiber spoiler part was pretty funny. But yeah just search around the forum. Modding questions are pretty common around here. Try www.3.8mustang.com also

You guys are a bunch of douche bags... the kid is obviously clueless.. but noooo youve gotta rag on him and not let him into your oh soo select cool little V6 group... Kuz your all sooo big and tough and know sooo much about cars...
I know we're all young around here, but come on... I know this question gets asked so many times, that's why those stickies are there on the front page. We need a button up at the top for people who ask this question that will automatically just link them to the Common Mods thread and the list of everyones car mods. Obviously we're giving him a hard time because of the way he asked his questions. There are plenty of people who can ask a good question without making themselves sound like they're just some young kid looking to go out and race their buddies Civic SI Nos injected. Maybe I'm being harsh but like I said, a lot of these questions are asked in ways that get much more respect from members. Heck, I've asked stupid questions before and gotten tons of help from guys on here because I know how to spell and I usually try to search before I ask my dumb question! </Rant>

Best advice anyone will give u around here... Read around in posts where everyone ISNT in conformist ******* mode and just learn from previous questions.. Google and searching this forum will answer your questions.. i bet you more than anything if uve got a question you can search for it. Now, i can also advise you that crashing your car like everyone around here likes to do is something you dont want to conform to. as far as moddingif you find something you like, dont bother asking kuz most likely one guy will shut it down and then everyone will shut it down just to fit in...
Ok, first off....you are missing the big picture here. I think the main reason everyone is being to hard on the kid is that he's young and stupid to put it bluntly....I mean his sig says "I street race in real life!" like he's proud of endangering himself and others. Then he says he's in school....well it damn sure isn't college because even though most college kids are borderline retarded they aren't as immature as this guy. Most of the people here have offered a couple suggestions about what he can do, while others have tried to steer him away from being reckless. Other than the sand in the intake post nothing was downright mean, and even then....the kid doesn't know anything about cars....so he probably didn't even know that was spiteful.. You sir need to chill out, because I'm willing to bet if I look hard enough I can find a post or two of you making some smart *** remark or giving out bad advice, or conforming to the elitism of some of those around here....So just relax.

Oh, and Too Fast, I don't know if anyone else answered your two wheel burnout question yet but you need a traction lock for that. Too tired to explain all the details but basically it delivers power to both wheels instead of right rear. Search the forums for t-lok, t-loc, traction lock, etc....there are a ton of posts on it with a ton of useful info. This would go good with gears too.

I dont care whatyou think the"big picture" is and i dont care what i said/did in the past... My deal is that the kid obviously has no clue what hes saying or doing but only a select few want to help him out.. thats how its always been..

Try to steer him away from being reckless my ***.. who here did that? I just see posts ragging on him. And whos to say you know anything about cars anyway? If he doesnt know anything about cars why not teach him instead of running your mouths? Its THIS exact reason why Mustangforums (V6 especially) has such a bad rap.. even people at the Camaro forums noticed it (where, by the way, they answer and handle questionswith alil moreconsideration thansome of you)

Your oh so intelligent train of thought is, "This kids young and stupid so lets just **** with him".. I mean lets justforget the reason why this forum is here.. lets just ignore his questions and hassle him.sounds likea great plan to me.

You seem to think its cool to judge people by how they type and ask questions.. Someone shouldnt have to ask a question a certain way to get a kind, thoughtful response...

Way to go btw with the "college kids are retarded"... im guessing you skipped the college level of life and went straight to flippin burgers at mcdonalds.. real nice.. Do you know the definition of Retard? It means to hold back to slow down.. if college is considered extended studies then how could they be held back or slowed down?

Honestly I think the kids just a little young and he needs to learn about his car. I'm willing to bet this is his first car and he's trying to be like all of his friends at school to fit in which from what i remember was what high school was all about.

No offense to you "Too Fast" but the first thing you need to do is lose the wing(I mean for f**k sake its a Mustang not a rice peice of sh*t), then you just need to research stuff like somebody already mentioned serach the site, google, any other forums, parts sites, etc. As for my input on you're "I Street Race In Real Life" line in your sig lose that with the "go to hell wing" its retarded I've seen one of my bestfriends from high school and probably the best most mature person I knewget killed in a car accident because of somebody elses stupidity at only 19 years youngand I've got the memorial tattoo to prove it. So my advice to you is unless you want to end up in a bodybag and put your family and friends though the most traumatic expierience of their lives KEEP IT SAFE...DO IT ON THE TRACK!!!

As for the "College kids are retarded" line no offense to anybody in college but I'm a high school drop out thats doing better in life at only 20 years old than most people in their mid 40's. To be completely honest most of the people I know that go to college are complete retards, they use it as an excuse to get drunk and party rather than further their education and get a better career. However there are some people that actually takelife serious and give a damn. But my opinion is that books don't teach everything, experience is much more important and much more useful.

From somebody who has made the stupid mistake and broken stuff because of it before you do anything to your car research it and if you've never done it before get somebody to help you that has and don't be afraid to ask questions, its the only way you're going to learn.

No offense.. but if your a high school drop out.. your probably not hanging out with the right crowd.. AKA.. the drinking weed smoking group of college kids.. Not to mention we will see how you are when you try and have a family.. You cant drop outta high school and become a lawyer or a doctor.. Im willing to bet your in construction. You just kinda prove my point that its better to go to college.. even if there are some school and some kids who do stupid ****.. you still learn and you still get a degree and while all the losers are out drinking and smoking pot youll be on your way to earning the big bucks as a doctor or a lawyer.. AND you can support a family in the future.

it seems you care a lot about fitting in, so i would take that horrible carbon wing off first or else you'll get made fun of by any camaro/vette/stang/etc driver you see on the road lol - it's a classic american muscle car, not some lame ricer

it's a v6 auto, so you're not going to make it amazingly fast without putting some money into it.. try to learn more about your car first, and definitely don't try to street race until you've gained some experience (and even then i'd take it to the track)

You're too funny...first of allit sounds like you acknowledge that in that past that you may have done the same thing that happened here. But now you are saying that doesn't matter? You sir are a hypocrite. Second, to adress your who is both trying to steer him away from being reckless and offering advice, I did both of those. You may want to reread some of the posts. And last to answer your assumption that I skipped college....you're way off on that one buddy, I'm a senior at Cal State Northridge pursuing my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.Good job with the definition on retarded by the way, you must not know that retarded can also refer to a person who suffers from a mental disorder, or in a more general way can be used as part of common slang to refer to an idiot.

My "college kids are retards" comment was not to call them stupid, but to insinuate that they are prone to making bad deciscions. Oh, and Mr. Hypocrite, I see you're all on a pedestal about making fun of this kid for the way he types, or his extra curicular activities.....but a couple posts up you basically belittled a guy for being a high school drop out?!?!

I didn't judge the kid by the question he asked. I'm willing to help anyone with any question that I can answer, no matter how many times it's been asked, because I remember when I was new to cars and didn't even know how to change my oil. I am only trying to warn the kid that street racing isn't a good idea. If he still wants to mod his car then I say go for it. I even offered him several options to increase performance.

And on that note I'm done with you xX98StallionXx. No hard feelings because I still think you just took my comments the wrong way, hopefully this will have straightened some of them out. Now if you'd like to continue this, please do so in PM. The kid is probably all confused right now and hasn't gotten any good info since like the 3rd or 4th post.

Oh, and by the way Too Fast, don't listen to anyone tellingyou something is "rice" and to take it off. If you like it, that's all that matters. Half of the guys throwing that word around are just biased towards their american muscle. Don't pay any attention.
