Lol, that was actually a damn good comeback. Oh, and as far as the shaker hood goes, I think a couple guys on here have em. Someone will respond eventually. Try searching for "shaker hood" and you'll come across a bunch of stuff. I remember a very informative post a while back.
This is hilarious. The guy isn't getting a bit of info. But just to clarify on the HS drop and college thing. My mother drop out of middle school and my whole family has struggled for years to get somewhere in life (generations)and my father dropped out of college. Now, my mother is an RN, a shift supervisorand makes great money and benefits. She defyed the odds and still continues to do today. Also, my father is a great police officerand isgoing on 21 years.
Now, for the college part, I am 20 years old, just turned 20 actually and I've been working since I was 14. I've been in law enforcement for about a year now and I'm also in college for criminal justice. I do drink, I don't smoke, I don't smoke pot, I don't go to wild *** parties, I'm 20 years old and already putting into my state retirement. Give me 3 other people my age who has done that. Just because your in college doesn't mean you smoke pot and party, my friend.

Ummm, if you wanna make it fast buy a powerpack for ssm, then get the bottom end stroked and forged. Add a twin turbo, about 3k in suspension work, get a rearend off a gt. After all that you'll be almost set. But then again if you had 20k lying around you'd be better off with a different car.
But on a serious note, a couple things to take note of:
1)CAI's do next to nothing, they just look pretty and sound nice. Expect 4BHP MAX.
2)Wheel hp is what matters, and that is what most of the guys around here refer to. You're not building a dyno-queen TT Supra with 1000+hp
3)Unless you are getting ridiculously large diameter pipes like 3" or something, you would benefit from exhaust work. Just do it, one of the better mods you can do.
4)If you just wanna beat a nitrous injected civic, then why don't you just get a shot of nitrous yourself? You can pay a grand for a complete setup, then another grand for gears, tlok, and a tune. All that and you should take him....unless you suck at driving.
And by the way, I saw your sig, and read your comments.....you seem a bit immature and young to be racing. It's dangerous, don't do it. I see news reports of idiots that are barely 16 and think they have an R34 on the Nurburgring (sp?) and they end up wrapping their car around a tree killing thier friends and usually themselves as well. Save your pent up frustration and testosterone displays for the ladies....you don't wanna end up wrecking your car, losing your license, or worse.

And another thing... for you and all you morons out there thatthink street racing is "cool" or whatever the f*** your lame excuse is, it's far from it. Personally, Idon't give a rat's *** if you die doing it. It's like killing off the idiots likeDarwin's theory. Street racing is the most stupid s*** because innocent people doing their everyday driving end up dead b/c of dumbs***s that think theyshould street race. How would you like the cops coming up to your door telling you your mom was killed by someone street racing just beacause she went to the grocery store. BOTTOM LINE, IF YOU'RE GONNA RACE, TAKE IT TO THE TRACK! AndI wouldn't recommend the Nurburgring as the first place to start either.
So all in all... Just to sum everything up... Im pissed kuz everyone had to jump down this guys throat.. 1st of all.. yes carbonfiber wing is kind of a no no on a mustang.. but body parts for mustangs are made out of carbon fiber all the time and painted.. Carbon fiber is a great material.. but to reap its benefits you need to basically replace most of the body.
As forhs drop outs... Not all are lost, the ones who get after it and work hard are going to have a great life.. The ones who drop out just kuz they cant hack it are not gonna go far.
As for the retard comment.. Some one whos basically like a sister to me has Down Syndrome...call them a"Retard" is like calling a black person the N word... Its not just a definition its the true meaning of the word.. Just like Queer used to mean strange, Gay ment happy and ******s were a pile of sticks..
Finally, yes in my past I have been on the other side of the bashing... trying to fit in of course.. but ive been on both sides and seen both perspectives.. lets just say over time i came to realize the reason we have the rep we have is because of the way we handle posts... Not everyone here is a bad person or has to be an E-Thug and call someone out.. Only the ones who feel they have something to prove and want to fit in or look cool are the ones giving this kid **** and not helping him understand his car and understand the norm for these cars.. if he thinks a Carbon Fiber wing is cool, then he has the right to believe that and shouldnt be harrassed because of it... This is America.. everyones entitled to their opinions.. but that doesnt mean you should tear someone apart because theirs differs from your own.
As a side comment...some of you here dont plan on taking your cars to the track.. You bought what you can afford and want to do with it what you can and thats respectable... but those of you who look to mod their cars to gain horses but not take it to the track is like carrying around a .44 Magnum with no bullets.. youve got the car with the power but you dont have any plans on using it at the track.. So riddle me this.. Whats the purpose of gaining horses out of a car that gets you from point A to B safely etc... but with no plans to race it on a track.. Ive heard countless stories of stop light races on this forum... competition is in our blood.. its what americans do everywhere we always compete with eachother.. you can preach all you want against street racing.. but most of you cant deny that you have done it before.. well you can deny it to save face but you kno that you have and thats what really counts... Now i know someone who likes to dig up dirt and cause awhole big arguement will say "Hey Josh your buying a car with alot of mods and horses, you must be a hypocrite.." Well i can assure you that I will be bringing this car to the track to release my need for speed.. but it would be a daily driver and there for i would only bring it to the track from time to time... (thats just the clear things up for any of you muckrakers.)

Hey bud forget whatever u had there ,that wont help u much, the wing and all the stuff wont really do crap unless ur goin 130+ which Im pretty sure ull never hit unless u get modified. Id suggest u buy some gears first and then start with an exhaust and build your way up tyo a supercharger or nitrous which would be cheapest way out and will cost u about 1000-1200 bucks with a tune and an entire kit. Dont rag on d dude, he ll learn
