Hey, I have a 97 5 Speed Stang v6. I have a MAC CAI, and Magnaflow exhaust.Theres this dumb rice-boy at my work, who thinks his Automatic Maxima, that has an intake a downpipe can out-run me..should i just race him and show him whats up..or should i even waste my gas.</P>

 

what year maxima, i hate to say it, but pending on year, maximas will run and if its 94 or better your up against 190 hp. no disrespect for your stang, but maximas are quick and if its 02 or better your dealing with 245 hp.i have an 04 max(my old ladies)&amp;it will outrun a lot of gt's stock

 

Its a 95 Maxima..but its an automaitc..automatic vs my 5speed..

 

Having a stick doesn't make you faster. I bet you'd lose. Sorry man. Max's are fast after 94. You said down pipe. Did you mean header? If it has a down pipe then it has a turbo and you lose for sure. Sorry again.
