CAI's are a waste of money all together. If you're dead set on getting one, though, just get the cheapest one or whichever one you like better. They all gain you just about nothing.

mine is is in the fender too.... complete with heat sheild and all... and the one i bought actually fit really nice... oh and when i'm in a tunnel at high rpms if i turn the radio off and roll my windows down there is this nice high pitch whistle from the sucking of air... lol...
i have that sound every time i hit the gas.
I get that just from removing the intake silencer. Probably not quite as pronounced, but its definitely there much more than before I took it off.

i know it's supposed to make that high pitch whistle... but it's hard to hear over my straight pipes... so i can only hear it if i'm next to a wall or in a tunnel.... (oh yeah this is when i'm driving not just sitting still with my hood up...)

i agree but it is a good thing to have yer engine breath better... and it also looks nicer than the stock air box... so yeah go with the cheapest...

honestly 2 of my friends got cai's and one of them got the bbk and the other bought a 44$ one on e-bay and when we compared the parts ther were almost identical... both were really esy to install and the dude with the 44$ one is laughing cos there dosen't seen to be a diffrence both make the 3.8 sound good.. and bothe seem to work just fine... so i bought one from e-bay too... and it worked out really good... jusy be carefull on the one you order... if you do find check the persons ratings and try to look if anyone bought the same item and message them through e-bay and ask if thie cai was good or not... but yeah if you don't feel to go with the e-bay cai's then be my guest and spend 200 buck... oh before anyone says anything bad about me buyibg **** on e-bay i made sure and checked on the persons feed back who bought this item and i messaged them to see if it was worth it oer not... it's only an aluminum tube for air... 200 bucks is way too much... that is my opinion so don't hate...
Hate to tell you, but he'll be the one laughing in a few years when his CAI still looks brand new, and yours is falling apart. Been there, done the ebay thing, doesn't work too well in the long run, damn things are made too cheaply to hold up for a long period of time.

I have the BBK on my 5.0, and absolutly no complaints, 100X better than the old ebay crap I had on my old sixer.
