Default Gauging Interest....

JMS seems to have pretty much closed it's doors due some legal issue with people ripping them off or something. Well I want a set of c-pillars and now I'm going to have to make my own to get a set. I always had issues with their design, even though it was good, I personally think the scoops sat up to high and threw off the body lines.

The question is who would be interested in a set?

I'm pretty sure I can keep them at or below his old price, but still plan to maintain the highest quality. I would also need help in procuring a few sets of factory c-pillars from the New Edge crowd. I'll be willing to to sn-95 once I know it's all perfect, but having 3 new edges in the driveway makes it easier for me to start there.

Let me know what you guys think, I'm open to any and all constructive comments and concerns about them. I also plan to make them delete the glass so that they can use the 3 bolts there to aid in securing them, and let the window seal sit better.

Edited to include pics of the JMS ones, I plan to do something similar but try to match the body lines a little better:

i kinda like em but like you said. something about them doesnt flow right. i heard the jms pillars werent that great of quality so if you had some really nice ones made i think i would think about it. what i really want is their targa kit back..but at the original price of under 1k..not 3k damnit. im working on a one off "kit" for my car right now. im gonna be using latches and parts off a vert to do it. i have full lenth sfcs waiting to be put on...then after i get all the parts is the scary part...cuttin off the roof

Yeah I don't plan on branching off into targas. It wouldn't be profitable on the sn-95 anyway. The S197's have a "glasstop" option now, which I think is even cooler than the targa.

I of course plan to do it with the highest quality in mind. I've done enough custom crap to know where fitment and finish count, and most of it is in the mold making process.
