The only thing neon's do is get you noticed more. I personally thing that the sound of a good exhaust is more noticable than the neon's.

IDK, ppl are just weird these days, always hating on somebody else's car thinking theres isbetter than theres. Personnaly i dont give a **** what ppl do to there car, its there car and they have the right too do what ever they want with it. Even if some ppl don't like it. I don't care for neons or bodykits myself but i dont' go saying your car is ugly were did you get that **** from. I just let it go sayin if he/she likes it thats all that matters. Peace

 

Do what you wanna do to your ride 'cuz no1 else is paying for it. But since you asked for opinions, with all of the cars that I had before I got my stang (import and domestic) the first thing I did was put in subs and change the stereo and crap like that. But everything for the stang has been performance related--I bought mine brand new and it still looks as clean and stock as the day I got it 5 years ago. Don't know what it is. I'd personally rather have a car that is fast than one that just looks fast.

 

I agree in my opinions neons do not belong on a mustang and most people will show a lot of hate for it. But then again thats just an opinion.. Its your car and if thats what your into then **** everyone else. If neons are gonna make you happy with ur cars appearence then whos to say you cant do it.

Honestly, half the body kits for mustangs look gay as hell anyways.
Except for maybe Roush's... never was a huge fan of Saleen's stuff.

 

Stang owners are easily provoked, borderline redneck, with plenty o'opinions, and proud of what this automobile stands for. I wouldn't call it hate, I would simply call it voicing one's likes and dislikes.

Seriously, neons, crazy spoilers, ugly *** body kits, etc. are for imports. I had that stuff on my RSX-S, however, never put anything on any of my 'Stangs. It just seems unnatural to place that crap on a muscle car.

 

i believe you're the only person who actualy answered my question. though i kinda got the drift from every1 else. to quote a not-so-well know person, "opinions are great, when kept to themselves."

idk what ppl tell me 2 do with my car. i damn well payed for it, and i'll damn well add what i want. but it's nice to know which way the flow is flowing. if u get me.

 

i had a mark VII that was painted flat black, and i had very dim (purple) neon under it, it just looked bad ***. purple neon inside under seats. i got it all for free though, so i didn't really spend anything on it, just wires.

btw, it had a 347 stroker with a paxton supercharger built AOD with stage3 shift kit (reverse valve body) and 4.11 gears
