Hey,just bought a shift kit, and looking to put it in after Xmas some time. Question is should i get a Cooler of some sort? I was looking into a B&M Supercooler. Any thoughts, and wise investment? Thanks \m/

always a good idea.

you can actually make yourown if your handy. just use a heatercore and connect the in and out ends to you trans cooling lines that you make yourself and mount it infront of the rad.

some heatercores only cost $20. they also make nice cheap rads for 2stroke watercoolde dirt bikes on a low budget if the original rad goes bad.

but if you want a no hassle trans cooler for under $75 Advance auto carries them.

keeping your trans cool is always a great idea especially if heavy mods and track/roadcourse use are in the future plans

you dont really need a trans cooler unless you race it. if your just gona be driving around then i would say save your money.

No, i wouldnt make your own. I sold my 16 row alum. trans cooler for $35 on ebay with all the parts needed. I would def. put a Transcooler on all my auto cars. Then get the Transcooler fan off older diesel Ford Trucks from a junkyard.

I don't know what makes you think that but a trans cooler is a great investment no matter what.
