Does it go away after the car warms up?

If the belt is real shiney on the non-ribbed side or cracked a lot on the ribbed side, I'd replace it to begin with. If the squeak goes away, you fixed the problem. If not, it could be a bearing on the idler pulley or the tensioner pulley.

If you're going in that direction fine but it may not address the original problem. Your idler pulley remains the same and if the belt is bad, it will still be bad.

What normally comes in a UDP are waterpump pulley, alternator pulley, and Harmonic balancer pulleys. None of which have bearings built into them.

you should check your throw out bearing... a common sign that your clutch is on it way out... how many miles is the car sitting on??

It could be the tensioner pulley, alternator bearing, waterpump, or AC compressor bearing (not likely).

Easiest way to check is to remove the belt and free spin the pullies. You'll probably find one of them is noisey to begin with. If that doesn't help you then you could also start the car up (briefly) and see if the noise is gone with the belt removed and the engine running. Don't let it run too long because without the belt, your water pump is not running and your battery is not being charged.

If the noise is still there then it's not the belt or the pullies. It's something with the engine itself.

For UDP check to see which Harmonic Balancer you have. Some late model 2000 stangs have the early 2001 balancers

+1
I'm a 2000 with a internal balance from the factory.
Get a steathascope and listen for the bad one, it should sound a lot different from the good ones. I had to replace the bearing on my tensioner pulley not too long ago, i would check that one out first.
