Very nice, conrats man!

I started my mustang passion with a 95' which is under construction right now. I must strongly warn on that note that the heads are super prone to warping, cracking and head gasket blowing.

The first mod you should save up for is a splitport head conversion and get those newer heads and gaskets on that pony. The bottom end of the block is identical to 99-03 so I wouldnt worry about upgrading that for a while. The only thing that is different is that the 94-98 have a slightly dished piston, more so than the 99+ so when you do the swap you will not have the 9.4 CR that the 99+ has. It does however make for a better combination to SUPERCHARGE that mother!

With that said you do not have to get the upper intake for the splitport conversion, just the lower, that is if you want to go the way of a roots SC. Supersixmotorsports will supply the adapter intake for $900 and the rest will run around 1000-1500 depending on where you buy from.

The stock cobra eaton M112 will produce 10psi on your system and make 100-150 extra ponies.

The stock bottom end can support about 350hp before having problems, some have pushed harder and some not as hard and have both had mixed outcomes. 350hp seems to be about it.

I would save about $3000 and just have a blast with modding it

Congrats again!

OH!!!!
Your first maintinance that you should do on this car is go and buy a brand new electric fan for it and a 180 degree T-Stat and buy some redline Water Wetter and flush that rad system with new coolant.

Other things to concider are, change oil, plugs, air filter, trans fluid, differential fluid, charcoal canister, air system filter (In-cab) and any hoses under the hood that look like they are rotting or cut or torn. Brakes can come later if needed.

Between racing, a failing fanand hot street weather in California that caused my heads to crack.

Looking good there, not for the fun part of adding stuff to it, if the budget permits!
