From what I've heard, D-specs are a good damper for the money, so that's not a bad way to go.

two inches should be fine. if you ever plan to add any body effects, it may be too low. i bought tokico hp's from stang suspension for my shocks and struts. ill let ya know how they are after i install next week. if you go that low of a drop be sure to buy c/c plates. you'll need those to help accomdate the 2 in drop. otherwise you'lll have horrible allignment issues. smoke alarm motion detector stainless steel wire
