2005 V6 Performance Parts
Hey all, I'm a new 2005 V6 Mustang owner. Before I get bashed for not getting a GT, I would just like to say I'm not one to leave things stock. I figured if and when a supercharger ever comes out for the V6, I'll be much happier that I paid close to $10,000 less than a GT and didn't have to pay the outrageous insurance premiums, but still had decent performance.
For now, the 4.0L is pretty sweet for a V6. I'd still like to squeeze a little more out if it, though. Other than www.v6mustangstuff.com , are there any good places to find new stuff for the V6? I'm mainly interested in aftermarket exhaust, intake (not just the filter) and headers.
Also, is there any chance in the world that a V6 supercharger will make it to the market?

RE: 2005 V6 Performance Parts
rpmoutlet is a ripoff
for hardcore 4.0 sohc parts www.supersixmotorsports.com has nice ported heads
ask the guy's at http://v6power.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=38
or look here since the explorer and 05 v6 have the same engine many parts may interchange

RE: 2005 V6 Performance Parts
Also, would headers for the Ranger 4.0L/245 work on the new Mustang V6?
They are the same engines, but I'd hate to take a chance... Here's an example of some:

Hi Matt,
Basically, yes, it will fit. It will need a new inlet adapter. At least that my current approach. I need a local car to work with. We just dynoed our 4.0 Ranger kit and got 252 RWHP - estimated 295 at the flywheel.
