My 2000 Mustang was T-Boned, need Qtr Panel replaced.
Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum and need some advise. My 2000 Mustang GT was T-Boned, so now I have to replace the passenger Door and the Qtr-Panel from the door jam to the rear, including the wheel-well. Anyone have ideas, recommendation, tips will be greatly appreciated.
I will be uploading some pictures tomorrow. Its always great to take before and after pictures, especially when I've never done something like this before. Could sure use some help.
Thanks,

Go ahead and post pix. Many on this subforum own year models such as yours. I don't agree with VCSthis is "wrong part of forum." Indeed, it is the kind of "technical" post becoming rare nowadays. There could be some owners that can tell you whether or notyou have a real chance of restoring your ride. By the sound of it, there could be some serious damage, the kind that will not be able to bring back to a drivable condition.
Best of luck, welcome to the forum.

i had similar damage to my old explorer. my friends dad was an autobody mechanic though so i just brought it over there and he fixed it for me cheap. it was a lot less expensive than the body quotes i had but if insurance will pay for it just go to any body shop.
