Does Magnaflow make a Cat Back Exhaust for the V6? I went down to the muffler shop here and the owner looked through the Magnaflow and Cherry Bomb books and they only had exhausts for the 5L and 4.6L. He also said that V6's sound like airplanes with dual exhaust. Just wondering if he is true before i go and drop 600+ dollars on a exhaust that will sound like a piece o' ****

 

Yea magnaflow makes a kit for the sixxers, search for it on their site. But on a sixxer my buddy has a MAC exhaust and thats whatI had whenI had my sixer andit sounded good for a six, also i have heared flows sound pretty good on sixxers.

 

I know magnaflow makes a kit, i seen it on the site. i told the dude that and hes said that i gotta get back to him with the parts code and he can order it in for me. but i probably wont get back to him with it cause he said he wont put turn downs on cause they are illegal.

 

most people here swear by the flowmaster 40 series mufflers, and you can have your local shop bend your dual piping for you. itll be most likely cheaper than a prefabbed kit, and itll give you a nice sound. if you want clips of how a 6banger stang sounds with an exhaust, goto youtube.com, and search v6 mustang exhaust. youll be able to judge for yourself.

 

I just put turn downs on my stang yesterday and it sounds awesome, it's no v8 but it is a nice deep sound.
