if its running good right now i dont see why it wouldnt make the trip. the stuff mentioned above, if your last oil change wasnt very recent you may want to just go ahead and change the oil for some cheap insurance (and that way you wont have to worry about changing it when you hit your destination).

and whenever you stop for gas, food, whatever pop the hood and check for any leaks or something that could become a problem. check oil and antifreeze level.

and definately check your spare tire out, its easy to forget and could mean the difference between you driving and walking to the nearest gas station.
