dear God, stay away yfrom maaco. this is coming from someone who has had a maaco paint job, their "best" one, if u can call it that. the paint was flaking off within 6 months. and i keep my car PRISTINE, wash, wax and detail it all the time, no abuse. stay away, pay a little more from a reputable body shop in your area.

i have had my maaco paint job for 3 years now, i got the supreme which is their second best. and i have no complaints it still looks great. it all depends on what store does it, try to find one with good reviews.

+1 for going to a local shop or a private car painter might be on the lil pricey side but deffently dont go to some place that everyone sayes isnt a great place, now i cant say that maaco is bad because ive never had them paint my car for me but i also wouldnt recommend a dealership to do your car either unless you like them snooping around and finding other "problems" with your car and charging you for them lol... I went to a private dealer to get my car done and might i just say best money ive spent on detailing on my car ever. Plus i got two twin white stripes put on for free cause i liked all his other work. haha. But just look around and see what they give you for estimates and see some of their latest jobs theyve done and if your convinced go with your best judgement. Good luck man!

Dealerships are ALWAYS more expensive but they ALWAYS do good work.

Macco does good work if you pay for body work base primer, color, color sand, clear, color sand.

Spingfield Mo Macco price breakdown.
*Pime (2 coats,) color (3-5 coats,) Clear (3-5 coats.) $1200
*Color sanding $300 each time (x2 = $600)
*Body Work (Depends on how good or bad the car is.)

They have a clean spray booth and the have a baking room.
Paying for that breakdown results in great finish work, I have seen a SN95 Mustang done in red from them and it was better than factory.

It does come down to what you pay for and how involved you get into the process. Of course if you spring for the $399 job and drop it off that single stage isnt going to look good at all.

You have to pay to get the good stuff.

alright, over half of the posts say to stay away. less than 50 percent customer satisfaction = probably not a good place for you to do business, lol. but, if you feel like gambling, maybe youll have luck with your local branch.

now someone is gonna chime in maaco is the shiznitt, beyotch, pwned ftw!!!! or something.
