Default new heads

I just rescently blew my head gaskets on my 1996 v6 mustang, automatic. I think i'm going to get some ported and polished heads since the old ones will be off. Does anyone know where I can get some from, how much they will cost, and what kind of power increase I would be looking at. Is there anything else that might be "easy" to do when I take all this suff off, and worth my time.

for a decent pair of heads, install and tune it would probably cost more than your car is worth...plus you drive an auto its not really worth dumping that much money into it unless you plan on doing a lot more to it.

Check out http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/ for a HiPo power pak. 1700 bux buys you around 90 horse power. Or do your own, ported heads, intakes, valves and cam. Our member Rod (98Stallion) did his own I believe. Great way to make a V6 kick ****.

Oh wow I thought that ported and polished heads would only cost like 400 bucks if i installed them myself and then 200 bucks for the gasket kit.
