Wreck Update
Well i have a pretty damn good job. My credit score is in the 800s and i keep school costs down by going to my local CC. So a loan isnt going to hurt me too bad. I make sayyy 1200 a month and I live at home. So I can afford a decent car payment. I wont get a car right away when I get the insurance money. Im going to save another 1 to 2k to cut put down a higher down payment on the loan to keep interest rates down and whatnot.
As for price range. Im really trying to keep it under 9k. I work a lot during the summer, nearly full time and if i keep my expenses down i will have paid the majority of my loan off. Just depends on the debt i put myself in.
Car wise, Id love a sn95 cobra, just a lot of them are iffy in my area. Not only that, Im just more of a new edge design guy.
In a perfect world id have a mystichrome TT termi but ill be thankful to find a clean GT

Well Quiksilver, i think you'll have a lot too choose from. I'm in the same boat as you for everything money wise and i'm also looking into getting something different. My advice is just to look at everything, which i'm sure you will. Keep in mind the 99 Cobra! If you can find one in decent shape with low miles, you could prob pick it up for the same price as an 02 GT. Just make sure the Cobra has gone through the call back from Ford.
