Default Lowering Question

So I'm thinking of upgrading my suspension. I looked at the Bullitt Mustang Suspension Kit from Stangsuspension.com, and I was wondering what the drop would be on a v6 convertible? Would it still be the same drop as listed, would it be more or less?

i think those springs might raise your car cuz those are meant for the weight of the v8 on them?

See that's what I was thinking, but then I searched online to try to find the curb weight for 1999-2004 Mustangs. I found that a GT Coupe weighs 3237lbs while my V6 convertible weighs about 3203lbs. So the way I was thinking was that the drop will be similar if not identical to that a GT coupe getting the suspension.

yeah but the spring rates are different... like i know that if you go out and buy gt take off springs it will raise your car...

wait hold up are these springs like stock for a bullitt or are these lowering springs for a bullit... so it would lower a bullitt

are you looking at this? http://stangsuspension.com/store/com...?idproduct=275
cuz it says they got a similiar rate to the Ford C springs and people have those on their 6's and they give you a nice little drop i think... like it should be around an inch

I believe they are the springs for a Bullitt. The specifications says that its similar to the Ford C Springs.

yeah if its similiar to the C springs then it'll give you like an inch drop... and the bullitt shocks/struts are a nice upgrade too

later some more guys will post on here and see if they are thinking the same
