I was working on the wifey's '94 (3.8) and replaced the IAC. The battery was dead for several months, so I got a new one and installed it while I replaced the IAC.

After I did all the install, the airbag light was flashing a code 52. Does anyone have a listing for what this code means? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

BTW, she got 270k miles on original engine and tranny. She works great and the interior is flawless (no fade or tears). She is just as stubborn as the wife.

A CODE 52 is gonna be OBD-I, not sure were a code source for that one

 

I know this is an old thread, but my 97 just started doing the same thing. Did you ever get it figured out?

How did you reset the light? My 94 has the airbag and the anti lock break light on

 

I don't remember exactly but there is a grey plug under the glove box and you have to turn the key on and let the code flash once. Then short out the two wires with a wire or paper clip. If it worked the car will beep five times. It took me a few times trying to get it but it has worked so far. Do a google search. Good luck, Mike
