94-95 is OBDI
96-04 is OBDII
Fink I havnt gotten this far yet, but is the ECU plug the same for 94-04? Meaning that with just an ECU you can upgrade your 94/95 to OBDII?
From my fogged memory I dont think you can, but perhaps you can tell me for sure.
My sig project (The 95) has the engine waiting here in my kitchen (Yes, its in the house :P ) but we are moving back to Cali so I need the car running again. I have a couple 99+ engine available cheap to me but I would need to burn a tune for it and really dont want to.
If I could just swap a 96+ ECU in there and use my tuner (I have saved SCT tunes from the 96 to 00 swap) then I could put one of those engines in and drive her back out to Cali. I dont want to have to change the behind dash harness.
