Default Need to know if this rear end will fit?!

http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/pts/1122600040.html

It says it was taken out of a Mercury Mountaineer. It has disc brakes, posi, and 3.73's. Can someone tell me if this will fit or if it takes anything to get it to fit.

Why dont you just put gears in the 7.5?

Heres an Auburn Posi, rebuilt for a 7.5

And with the money you save from that you can buy new gears.

Lol if I could get mine installed for $20 I would do it tomorrow. Unforunatly like many people on here I don't have a mechanic friend...although I know a guy who owns a body shop but that doesn't help here.

Called one place near me and was quoted 1k...fck that. But i've heard you can have it done for anywhere from 300-700, which I could save up for.
