Does anyone know why ford decided to do the 3.9? Did they have some and decided to put it into a few of the mustangs or was it an option for that year?
Ford under estimated the sales of the 40th anniversary edition Mustang. So the ran out of the 3.8. Instead of building more they just used the 3.9.
