You should focus on the rear end, a better trans, suspension, you are in way over your head converting a stocker v6 to a power-house stroker motor. Please don't take this reply the wrong way, I'm just being realistic.
The motor is setup to work with the turbo and to be able to handle the turbo to its fullest ability.. however the guys at SSM said it will be fine without the turbo.. No damage by running it by itself until the turbo is an option down the road.. I doubt they would say that if there was a chance of damaging anything.. And as for little pay off idk.. stock engine is rated at 180-190hp which we all know means that at the wheels the v6 is probably pushing 150-160.. so a 100hp+ jump seems like it is going to be nice.. Like i said earlier SSM states that once everything is broken in the motor will put about 250rwhp... then figure in all the bolt ons like exhaust, headers, intake, throttle body, tuning etc.. then figure in the 75 shot of nitrous.. idk.. seems like even if the turbo has to wait im looking at over 100hp in gain plus the 75hp with nitrous... and then the change of gears, putting in the t-lok ad all that.. seems like it would be worthe it.. i mean yea i wont be pushing the 500hp goal that i have but in time it will be great..

Also I am not putting this in myself.. i am having a shop do the work however on the days i have off of work i will be in the garage taking pics and lending a hand trying learn some of the "inner" workings of all this..

I just don't see this thing making a 100 more hp to the ground with this setup. It's lower compression for one, so you are losing there, and a big cam, that's not a good combination. I wouldn't attempt to start it without a dyno tune, don't get some mail order bs, unless you like seeing money burn up. All in all, I do wish you the best of luck, and hopefully, you prove us all wrong, including ME. I still think u should wait to install it with everything ready, but, that's just my 2 cents.

It'll start off the mail order tune, and get him tot he dyno. From his cam specs that cam is no where close to "big" its somewhere between small and mild. However I do think its a waste to buy headers now, then have to replace them down the road for the turbo setup.

Hey, no mocking the Mach. (But I guess the truck is technically 'mandarin gold metallic' as well (even though it looks orange to me).

And at least the Mach has a blue motor - to match the white car which has a blue motor as well.

I like the color choice on your motor but I'm more of a gold and black guy...

As for how much powah this thing is gonna being making N/A... this might give you an idea....
http://www.v6power.net/dyno/na.php

Your compression ratio is too low to make 250 rwhp... I say 235ish. Get better brakes, suspension, and for Christ's sake, get an 8.8" if you plan to make 400+ rwhp. If you have an auto, look into getting a higher stall. Good luck man.... at least you put your money where your mouth is, now you just gotta walk the talk!
