i took my 2000 3.8 auto mustang to auto zone. i have a SERVICE ENGINE SOON light on....they pulled codes and said O2 sensor AND torque converter clutch sensor. (or something like that)

anyone dealt with anything like this? the only thing that i can tell you about how the car acts is this: when you go from PARK to DRIVE, the car really lunges into gear hard. after that, it seems to drive and shift normally. someone told me that it could be some kind of solenoid in the tranny?? anyone have any input? thanks, rick

 

update! i talked to a tranny shop today, and described this problem. he thought it sounded like a bad printel switch....sp? anyway, has anyone had experience with this? is it hard to change out? rick
