im about a day away from putting in my c.a.i, and soon doing straight pipes, should i start with 4.10 gears, if not what should i start with

Tlock with the gears..no since in half way doing it. But first get a tuner because you will need it for the gears, if u have an auto, and the future of modding.

yeah i realize im going to have to get a tuner but that real expensive everything ive seen, got any other cheap mods suggestions to at least make it respectable. i have it looking nice now i want the power to follow

I dont like straight pipes, an alt is grab a 94/95 GT X or H pipe and have a muffler shop modify it to fit your manifolds. My local muffler shop did my 94/95 BBK Xpipe for $70 and you can use any 94-04 GT muffler combination.

I say the 94/95 because the T5 trans mount will work perfectly with the sixxers T5.
96-04 will work too but I dont know about the trans mount.

i have a 02 so i would buy an old gt x pipe and they can fit it to mine and it dual right

Have an exhaust shop fab you a h or an x pipe along with a catback with the mufflers of your choice. Depending on the area in which you are located you may be able to have all that done for $300 maybe less maybe more. As for gears dealing with the rear end i hope you have experience or have somebody who has done it a couple times help..otherwise it may end up being costly.
