I already got a couple sixxers so this is what I would do.

Sell the 98' and put the extra 2-4k ontop of that $4k that you have and buy a 94-98 Cobra.

If you are dead set on modding your six you could do the splitport swap (99-04 engine) and get a used Procharger or Vortech for it, modify you stock midpipe to accept true dual exhaust, 8.8" rear end swap with 3.73 gears or 4.11's if your an auto and get it tuned.

That should blow about $4k.

That would blow well over 4k. The procharger alone, if bought new, is 4k right? So unless he finds a used one theres all his money. M90 can be done for under 2k and guys make decent numbers from them on singleports. Then he has 2k left to do the rear and some suspension work.

i was going to do that and sell this car for like 2k but there is a recall of the v6s in 1998, the odometer goes out somewhere right after 100k. so might be stuck with this piece

I cant see that being a problem at all, replace the odo if it stopped working and sell her.

As for the Procharger, I meant used. I have seen a few for around $1500 so its is very possible. You would be buying the M90 used, why not the Procharger or Vortech?



I try to buy everything used or at least second hand unused.

Deals come along, you just have to devote yourself to finding them.
I spend at least 2 hours a week searching Craigslist within a 500mi radius.
searchtempest.com makes it very easy to search Craigslist.
