Default Remote?

Hey guys I was wondering if the V6 95 mustang came stock with a wireless remote? If so how hard is it to program a new one?

Look in the trunk, driver side, behind the trim panel, to the rear of the hinge. There is a bracket, that will have a little box mounted on it, and there will be a grey connector with nothing plugged in, if you have remote entry. You can get remotes fairly cheap on eBay, and programming is very easy.

I dont suggest buying a Code Alarm unit though if you go with an aftermarket one.

My 01' came with a Code Alarm remote start unit and it randomly unlocks my doors and trunk and flashes my lights and hazards while I am driving or just while it is off.

I got under the dash to see what was up and all the added fuses are not blown and no wires are bare or burnt.

I moved the unit and it started getting worse and doing it more randomly.
I just put the box back up in place.

I am guess that there is something broken or loose in the box to cause it to get worse as I moved it around.

This damn thing is so heavily integrated into the wiring harness that I do not even want to attempt to take it out myself. I will just wait and have a shop do it.
