Default What's causing this? (windstar swap)

It seems like a huge vacuum leak, but I can't find one! Did the windstar swap yesterday and it's been a big pain in the ***...

Are you talking about it hanging in the mid RPM range after revs?

Yeah. After the rev, I didn't touch the gas at all. It stays 1750+ and increases by itself. And if/when it comes down, it wants to die

Make sure your splices are good on you're extensions. Also, the IAC hose that comes with the kit can kink. I went to Autozone and bought a L shaped hose and it worked out pretty will. Mine was doing the same thing, then I redid my splices and the problem went away.

Much quicker! Lots more low end torque and feels like it picks up better every where in the RPM range. Very satisfied. Looks 100x better, too!

Going to degrease and wire loom everything that shows!
